RS Ministry of Interior arrests nine for child pornography

(Patria) - Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska have arrested nine individuals on suspicion of committing criminal offenses of child sexual exploitation for pornography, money laundering, and illegal production and trafficking of weapons or explosives in the previous period, it was announced today from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The operational action "System 2023" was carried out by police officers of the Department for High-Tech Crime of the Criminal Police Administration in cooperation with members of the police administrations of Bijeljina, Doboj, and Banja Luka.

Acting on the orders of the competent courts, they searched eight locations that were found to be used by individuals connected to the commission of the aforementioned criminal offenses, the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.

- During the searches, the means of committing criminal offenses were found and seized, namely computers, tablets, mobile phones, USB sticks, memory cards, SIM cards, and other devices for storing digital data, as well as other items that can be linked to the commission of criminal offenses, as well as items indicating the commission of other criminal offenses - it is stated in the announcement.

After the criminal investigation is completed, the individuals will be handed over to the competent prosecutor's offices with a report on the committed criminal offense.
