RS MUP: Duo who fired from automatic weapon in Bileća arrested

Police officers of the Trebinje Public Security Center have learned that a video appeared on internet portals showing two unidentified individuals celebrating the victory of tennis player Novak Đoković by stepping out in front of a house and firing a firearm into the air. Internet portals titled the videos „This is how Bileća and Herzegovina celebrate Novak's Roland Garros victory“, and police officers immediately conducted checks and determined that the individuals were M.H. and M.D. from Bileća, who were deprived of their liberty. The duty prosecutor of the District Prosecutor's Office in Trebinje was informed, who ordered all measures and actions to determine the circumstances of the said event, announced the RS MUP, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

On June 6, 2016, searches of the house and auxiliary facilities used by the suspects were carried out.

- The suspects will be subject to a report for the criminal offense of „Illegal production and trafficking of weapons or explosive materials“ under Article 399 of the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska and the criminal offense of „Causing general danger“ under Article 402 of the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska.
