MUP KS: One person arrested in Sarajevo, BMW, pistol and drugs seized

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Continuing work on solving the criminal offense of "Illegal possession of weapons or explosive devices", for which a person with initials A. M. was arrested on September 8,  police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, specifically the Property Crimes Department, the Department for Combating Drug Abuse and the Center Criminal Police Department, obtained operational information about the criminal activities of the said person and his accomplices, and on Thursday, based on a previously obtained Order from the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, conducted a search of a garage located on Nusreta Fazlibegovića Street, in the area of the Centar Sarajevo municipality, for which they received information that it was used by person H. K.

During the search, a passenger motor vehicle of the brand "BMW" without license plates, one signal pistol with a charger and 10 (ten) PVC bags containing a dry plant matter resembling the narcotic drug marijuana (total weight about 10 kg) were found, according to the statement from the MUP KS.

Checks carried out determined that the said vehicle was stolen in Orašje on January 12, 2019, and that a search had been issued for it.

The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was informed of all the above.

Police officers continue further work on the complete clarification and documentation of criminal offenses and the finding of persons linked to them.
