KS Ministry of Interior releases Stevanović after criminal processing

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The East Sarajevo Police Administration today handed over Vladimir Stevanović (34) to the Sarajevo police, for whom the KS Ministry of Interior had issued a warrant for motor vehicle theft, and PS Pale for the criminal offense of endangering security. Suvada Kuldija, spokesperson for the KS Ministry of Interior for Patria, confirmed that the individual V.S. underwent criminal processing and was released from the official premises of the KS Ministry of Interior.

Stevanović was also questioned, unofficially, about the murder of two Sarajevo police officers in October 2018, given that the investigation into the murder of the police officers is proceeding in the direction of members of the car theft ring. Stevanović is also a witness in the Volan case, which involves 27 members of the car theft organization being tried for the theft of 200 expensive vehicles worth millions.

Otherwise, Stevanović was on the run and was apprehended at the Karakaj-Mali Zvornik border crossing by members of the Serbian Ministry of Interior for a forged BiH driver's license.

The East Sarajevo Police Administration confirmed that they are also looking for Stevanović. Due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of "document forgery", a report will be submitted to the District Public Prosecutor's Office in East Sarajevo against V.S.
