MUP KS on shooting in Stup: Migrant murder was preceded by a fight between several of them

(Patria) - Tonight around 6 p.m. in the area of Ilidža municipality, a public order disturbance occurred between several migrants, followed by the use of firearms.

On that occasion, one male person died, the Police Administration of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton announced.

The statement says that the doctor of the Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance of Sarajevo Canton confirmed the death of that person in the area of Novi Grad municipality.

"The investigation is being conducted by police officers of the Police Administration of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton, led by the duty prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office. More information will be known after the completion of the investigative actions," the police said.

Let us recall, the conflict and subsequent shooting occurred in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Stup. On that occasion, one of the migrants sustained gunshot wounds from a pistol, from which he later died.

Several persons who are probably linked to the events in Stup were arrested tonight near the RTV building in Alipašino polje.
