Two demobilized Army of BiH veterans from Živinice, Šefik Muminović and Džemal Zahirović, have set off for Sarajevo, writes the Patria News Agency.
Šefik Muminović told the Patria agency that they expect to arrive in Sarajevo in front of the FBiH Government building after Wednesday, but that if they don't have the strength, they will burn themselves elsewhere.
- No one has called us yet, neither from the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs nor from the FBiH Government. I am not well, I have been treated three times at the Psychiatric Clinic, and due to my illness, I was fired from the Đurđevik mine. Zijad Rahimić, the director of the mine, promised to employ my son, but he lied to me, and that is one of the reasons for my action - says Muminović.
He added that his family saw him off crying. Eight of them live in one house, including three grandchildren, and all are unemployed.
- I am taking medication, and it calms me down a bit. The police who are following us bought us burek, and we ate that, and our intention is serious - Muminović added.
Injustice, impaired health, and poverty have driven them, as they say, to this step.
They announce that they will set themselves on fire in front of the FBiH Government building. They are asking Bakir Izetbegović and Željko Komšić for help.
