Enver Mujezinović, Assistant Director of the Federal Directorate for the Defense Industry, met today in Washington with Senator Roger Wicker, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and a member of the OSCE Commission in the US Congress, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
Mujezinović informed Senator Wicker about the work and program of the defense industry in BiH, particularly about the existing cooperation with "Howell Machines" Inc. and other companies from the USA.
The meeting discussed the further development of cooperation. Senator Wicker gave full support to the efforts of the Government of the Federation of BiH, and especially the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry of BiH, led by Minister Erdal Trhulj, in establishing institutional cooperation between the USA and BiH.
The next steps were agreed upon at the meeting ahead of the planned visit of Minister Trhulj to Washington in September this year.
