MS&WOOD presented award-winning furniture collections at Shanghai exhibition

Bosnian and Herzegovinian manufacturer of high-quality designer furniture MS&WOOD presented its collections "Primum" and "Elle" at the "Design Shanghai" Exhibition held from March 8 to 11 in this Chinese city. MS&WOOD products were exhibited in the "Contemporary Design" hall, which showcased the best examples of contemporary and innovative design of today, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

This is the most visited international exhibition, or rather design fair, in Asia, and the fourth most visited event of its kind in the world.

MS&WOOD presented its multi-award-winning furniture collections produced in Fojnica, its debut collection "Primum", developed by BH designer Ado Avdagić, and its latest collection "Elle", by BH designer Nataša Perković, which Fojnica masters have skillfully transformed into furniture of superior performance.

Great recognition was given to Bosnian and Herzegovinian design with the invitation of the organizers to BH designer and senior assistant at the Department of Product Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, Nataša Perković, to hold a lecture at the Design Forum within the Shanghai Exhibition. The topic of the Forum was "global design - how to achieve humanity and authenticity in a production process that is increasingly dependent on machines", and Perković lectured on the topic "Elle Collection: Beauty + Quality = Sustainability".

Thirty leading designers participated in the program of this four-day Forum, along with icons of the global design scene such as Dakota Jackson, Karim Rashid and Jamy Yang, as well as today's most talented young designers such as Paul Cocksedge, Benjamin Hubert, Bethan Laura Wood and Joyce Wang.

The "Design Shanghai" exhibition, due to its uniqueness, does not take place at a typical exhibition center, but in the exceptionally picturesque space of a former palace that has been converted into the "Shanghai Exhibition Center". The exhibition itself is highly selective, and so far, only top global brands have been presented there, such as Zaha Hadid Design, Moroso, Porada, Alessi, Magis, Swarovski, and similar.
