MS&WOOD at the Design Exhibition in Shanghai: Great Interest in Furniture from Fojnica

Bosnia and Herzegovina's manufacturer of high-quality designer furniture MS&WOOD presented itself to the Asian market again this year with new items from its "Primum" and "Elle" collections at the "Design Shanghai" Exhibition, for which MS&WOOD received two prestigious German Design Awards for 2018. MS&WOOD products were exhibited at its own stand in the "Contemporary Design" hall, focusing on the best examples of contemporary and innovative design today.

This year's Design Exhibition in Shanghai lasted from March 14 to 17, and due to great interest from exhibitors, it was further expanded. Covering approximately 3,000 m2, the Exhibition brought together the best global manufacturers, designers, and architects. It is the most visited international exhibition, or design fair, in the Far East, and the fourth most visited event of its kind in the world.

"The interest in MS&WOOD furniture is truly great. In addition to cooperation with Chinese distributors from Shanghai, Beijing, and other Chinese and Asian cities, we are arranging joint projects in Europe, specifically Italy, which will follow the Milan Fair, where we are expected to appear in some new retail chains together with Italian brands. Basically, everything we brought as furniture exhibits was literally snapped up. Our V stol and Primum work desk were the most sought after," stated Edin Sarvan, MS&WOOD team leader at this year's Design Exhibition in Shanghai.

The "Design Shanghai" Exhibition, due to its uniqueness, does not take place at a typical fairground, but in an extremely picturesque space of a former palace converted into the exhibition "Shanghai Exhibition Center". The Exhibition itself is highly selective, and so far, only top brands of global significance have presented themselves there, such as Zaha Hadid Design, Moroso, Porada, Alessi, Magis, Swarovski, and others like them.

The manufacturer of high-quality designer furniture MS&WOOD employs 390 workers. MS&WOOD furniture collections have so far received prestigious awards such as the German Design Award, then four Iconic Awards - awards for design from the most significant furniture fair in the world, IMM Cologne, and the most interesting parts of the collections have been exhibited as exhibits at the Milan Triennale.
