Motorcyclist (22) killed in serious accident in Cazin

(Patria) - In a serious traffic accident that occurred today in Cazin, in the village of Ostrožac, a motorcyclist was killed.

The accident happened around 1:00 PM on the main road Bihać - Cazin, and 22-year-old Selmir Šahinović from Bužim lost his life.

The road is currently closed while a police investigation is underway, which will provide a more detailed understanding of the circumstances of this tragic accident.

While riding a motorcycle with Slovenian license plates, Šahinović veered off the road and sustained severe, life-threatening injuries.

- Immediately after the report, an emergency medical team from the Health Center arrived at the scene and provided first aid to the injured person, after which he was transported to the Cantonal Hospital in Bihać.

Unfortunately, the injured person died on the way to the hospital - confirmed for Faktor the spokesperson of the Una-Sana Canton Ministry of Interior, Adnan Beganović.
