Hand grenade thrown into yard of Mostar resident, fortunately did not explode

(Patria) - An unknown person yesterday threw a hand grenade in front of the yard gate of a family house at Mostar's Trg 1. maja, which did not explode.

The case was reported to the Mostar Police Administration (PU) by I.Č. (born 1980) from Mostar, at whose door the hand grenade was thrown, as stated in the report of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK).

Police officers immediately arrived at the scene and confirmed the report's allegations. A spoon from the hand grenade was also found at a distance of about 20 meters.

The prosecutor and the Criminal Police Department were informed of everything, and the scene was secured for the purpose of conducting an investigation and removing the hand grenade, the statement adds.
