MOSTAR Police searching for masked robber, employee bravely resisted him even though he had a rifle

(Patria) - Police officers of the MUP HNK Police Administration are taking all actions and measures to find the man who attempted to rob a store in Zalik, Mostar last night, with a threat of an automatic weapon.

A brave employee resisted the attacker who injured her by hitting her, even firing a rifle, and then left the premises.

"Around 7:20 PM, the Mostar Police Administration was notified that a firearm had been discharged in a store in the Zalik settlement. Police patrols were immediately dispatched to the scene. According to the employee's statement, an unknown male armed with an automatic rifle entered the facility and demanded money, leading to a scuffle between the perpetrator and the store employee, after which a shot was fired from a firearm – a rifle. After the incident, the perpetrator fled the scene, and police officers are taking all necessary measures and actions to find him. The duty prosecutor has been informed of everything, under whose supervision the investigation was carried out," the MUP HNK Police Administration announced.
