Possible short traffic delays on sections where works are underway

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Favorable weather conditions contribute to smooth traffic on most road routes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Short delays occur during the day on sections where renovation works are underway and where traffic is regulated by temporary traffic signals.

- The number of cyclists and motorcyclists has increased, so we ask all road users to be as careful as possible and to respect traffic regulations – stated BIHAMK.

Due to works in the Čaklovići tunnel on the Tuzla - Kalesija section (Simin Han - Caparde), traffic is suspended from 10 PM to 6 AM and rerouted to an alternative route via Dubrava. During the day, passenger vehicles from the direction of Tuzla travel through the tunnel, and from the direction of Kalesija, they use the bypass around the tunnel. Trucks are also directed to the route via Dubrava during the day.

Works are underway in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic - Jablanica section, where traffic alternates, one lane, during the day, while traffic through the tunnel is suspended at night (11 PM - 4:30 AM).

Other roads with ongoing works include: Ustikolina - Goražde (Ustikolina and Mravinjac bridges), Doboj - Rudanka, Tarčin - Konjic (Donja Raštelica), Stolac - Hutovo (Cerovica locality), Posušje - Tomislavgrad (Čitluk settlement) and Banovići - Ribnica (at the exit from Banovići).

Due to numerous landslides and the risk of mudslides on the Brod na Drini-GP Hum/Šćepan Polje main road, passenger vehicles experience difficult travel, while traffic for trucks is suspended.

Due to blasting operations, there will be short traffic suspensions (lasting 5 to 7 minutes) today between 1 PM and 2 PM and between 4 PM and 5 PM in Rogoušići (Sarajevo-Rogatica).

At border crossings, waiting times are up to 30 minutes.
