One month detention for Fehim Halilović, suspected of attempted murder in Gradačac

(Patria) - The pre-trial judge of the Cantonal Court in Tuzla, at the proposal of the TK Prosecutor's Office, ordered one month of pre-trial detention for Fehim Halilović from Gradačac due to well-founded suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of attempted murder.

Halilović is suspected of having, while intoxicated on September 8, 2024, around 00:40 AM in the yard of his family home in Požarike near Gradačac, after a brief verbal argument with M.Š., entered the house, took a kitchen knife, and inflicted injuries on the victim in the left shoulder area and a stab wound to the face and head. When M.Š. fell to the ground, he repeatedly kicked him in the face.

The victim was subsequently transported to the UKC Tuzla where he was admitted for treatment.

Halilović was arrested by members of the Gradačac Police Administration in the morning hours, underwent criminal processing, and was handed over to the Prosecutor's Office with a report on the committed criminal offense.

The acting prosecutor issued an order to conduct an investigation and questioned the suspect. Investigative actions and expert examinations in this case are ongoing.
