The Republika Srpska Crisis Staff today adopted a conclusion extending all measures taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in Srpska until May 11, with certain corrections, said the commander of the Staff and Prime Minister of Srpska Radovan Višković. After May 10, in accordance with the epidemiological situation, the RS Government will propose the lifting of the state of emergency.
Višković said that persons over 65 years of age are allowed to move from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, while adhering to all measures.
For May 1, the curfew in Republika Srpska will be extended, but he could not specify for how long. He ruled out the option that it would be three days, as in Serbia.
He stated that some business entities have been allowed to operate starting today, and some will be allowed to operate only from May 1.
"The conditions under which they can operate are precisely prescribed, so as not to endanger health, but to operate smoothly. We will not adopt any measures like those adopted by the Federation, where there is disagreement with the profession. The profession stands behind our measures," said Višković.
He emphasized that today's decision by the Staff allows the operation of counter halls and registry offices in municipalities, which will operate from 7 AM to 3 PM. Also, shops dealing with the production and distribution of food and beverages will be allowed to make deliveries and sell over the counter.
He said that from May 1, specialist and sub-specialist outpatient clinics and livestock markets will be enabled to operate, in accordance with priorities.
"The operation of children's playrooms, catering facilities, cafes, and cinemas will remain prohibited. Cafes, catering facilities, and hotels are last on the list, and a plan for them will still be made," he announced.
