Torić is accused of the criminal offense of abuse of position and authority. As acting director of the Health Insurance Fund, he used his position and obtained 20,000 KM for Osmanović.
Mensur Radončić, the lawyer of the convicted Osmanović, announced that an appeal would be filed. Osmanović claims that this is a politically fabricated process and that he will prove it in the second-instance proceedings.
