(Patria) - The religious part of the "Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Igman 2022" event began on August 3 in Sarajevo. Through religious services, tribute was paid to all members of the Army and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A requiem mass was held in the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Sarajevo for all fallen defenders of the Army and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RBiH of Catholic faith, while a parastos was held in the Old Orthodox Church for the fallen members of the Army and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina of Orthodox faith.
A tawhid was recited in the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque for the martyrs and fallen soldiers of the Army and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RBiH of Islamic faith.
The commemoration continues with a ceremonial academy at the Kovači Memorial Center.
