SARAJEVO, (Patria) - New Year's Eve passed relatively peacefully for the Sarajevo police. As stated by the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton, no violations due to fights were registered, nor were there any problems in the relationship between the police and citizens. One violation was recorded, for begging.
During the day, 19 traffic accidents were recorded, 17 accidents involving material damage, and two accidents in which bodily injuries were sustained.
Seven drivers were removed from traffic due to driving under the influence of alcohol, and three persons due to driving without a driver's license.
