Minister Pendeš sends condolences to families of fallen BiH Armed Forces members

Minister of Defence of BiH Marina Pendeš, who is attending the Conference on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement in Dayton, Ohio (USA), regarding the terrorist act in which two members of the Armed Forces of BiH were killed yesterday, 18.11.2015, planned to cut her visit short, but due to complex procedures for coordinating travel plans and flights, she could not travel back to the country, reports the Patria News Agency. 

Immediately upon receiving the news of this terrorist act, Minister Pendeš sent a telegram of condolences to the families of the killed members of the BiH Armed Forces.

The telegram expresses disbelief and sadness over the tragic deaths of soldiers Almir Salkić and Nedeljko Radić, emphasizing that this is an attack on all of us in the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of BiH, as well as on the state of BiH.

She also gave clear instructions and guidance to her deputies and associates in the MoD and BiH Armed Forces on how to act in the new situation, in order to continue activities to prevent and combat terrorism in BiH with other competent institutions and agencies.

In her message, Minister Pendeš emphasized that the MoD and BiH Armed Forces will continue to perform their duties, even more professionally, prepared, and decisively, in accordance with legal responsibilities and obligations that bring our country closer to NATO integration, it was announced from the MoD of BiH.
