(Patria) - The Gaza Ministry of Health announced early Sunday that more than 8,000 people have been killed in the Palestinian territory since the start of the war with Israel on October 7.
"The number of deaths related to Israeli aggression is over 8,000, half of whom are children," the ministry told AFP.
The last figure, released early Saturday, was 7,703 deaths. On the night between Friday and Saturday, Israel launched its largest air raid since the beginning of the war.
According to multiple sources, Israel also attempted a ground incursion into the Gaza Strip during that period.
