Ministry of Foreign Affairs: We most strongly condemn the activities of the terrorist group in Kumanovo

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina most strongly condemns the activities of the terrorist group, which took place in the Republic of Macedonia during the past weekend, reports the news agency Patria.

- These activities led to the loss of innocent human lives, to whose families the Ministry expresses its sincere condolences, and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH expresses hope that the security situation in the Republic of Macedonia will be quickly and completely stabilized with the support of peaceful and progressive forces that strive to suppress and solve the problem of growing terrorism in the world.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH currently has no information that any citizen of BiH was harmed in the riots that occurred, and hopes that this will remain the case when complete data on the victims and injured are collected.

The BiH Embassy in Skopje has taken all measures to assist our citizens. An appeal has been made through the public media to contact the Embassy staff in case of emergency, and the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Macedonia, Zdravko Begović, is still in Kumanovo, where he is in contact with the competent authorities, monitoring the development of the situation and is ready to provide assistance to BiH citizens if the need arises - it is stated in the statement.
