Ministry of Economy Invests New 900,000 KM in Technological Modernization and Ecological Transition of "Sarajevo - Forests" Company

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Minister of Economy of Sarajevo Canton Adnan Delić signed two new agreements with the director of "Sarajevo - Forests" Samir Omerović for co-financing the continuation of the technological modernization of this company.

"With two new agreements, we are co-financing the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies in forest cultivation, specifically a self-propelled crawler excavator that will reduce the destruction of the forest ecosystem during the company's operations on forest land, and the procurement of construction machinery necessary for improving the company's business," said Minister Delić after the signing.

Earlier this year, the Ministry co-financed the purchase of two tipper trucks, one of them with a crane, as well as an excavator with specific technical characteristics, with a total value of around 900,000 KM. The total value of the two new agreements is 900,000 KM, which amounts to 1.8 million KM in investments this year for the technological modernization and ecological transition in the business operations of the company "Sarajevo - Forests".

We remind you that from January to date, the Ministry has co-financed the ecological transition and improvement of business operations of the company PD "Butmir" in a total amount slightly less than one million convertible marks.
