
ZAGREB, (Patria) - The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia was not aware of Ambassador Ivan del Vecchio's trip to Banja Luka, it was announced today from Zagreb.
"The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs was not aware of Ambassador Ivan del Vecchio's trip to Banja Luka for a reception on the occasion of the unconstitutionally proclaimed Day of Republika Srpska and will thoroughly investigate how this happened.
The Ministry strongly condemns the decoration of former JNA officer Slavko Lisica, who has been legally convicted in Croatia for war crimes committed in the Šibenik area in 1991.
At the request of Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Minister Pejčinović Burić today recalled Ambassador Del Vecchio to Zagreb for consultations, the Ministry stated, reports NAP.
