Minister of Interior of Serbia Nebojša Stefanović stated tonight to Tanjug that Sanjin Sefić, who is suspected of killing two girls with a car in Sarajevo, is in the hands of the Serbian police and will be processed in accordance with international regulations governing extradition.
- Members of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia will provide all necessary assistance in this specific case, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia and other international regulations - said Minister Stefanović.
However, he noted, it should be taken into account that until this moment the Federal Ministry of Interior of BiH has not issued an international red notice, which is also an arrest warrant.
- This means that there is no legal basis for the deprivation of liberty of the person suspected of this criminal offense - Stefanović emphasized in a written statement provided to the media.
