Minister Mektić Discussed with Representatives of the Union of Police Bodies in BiH

Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Mektić met today in Sarajevo with the President of the Union of Police Bodies in BiH Dragan Krvavac and his deputy Danijel Ilić.

The meeting discussed the recent decision of the Council of Ministers of BiH on compensation for commuting to and from work in BiH institutions, reports Patria agency.

Representatives of the Union, which represents police officers from the Border Police of BiH, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), and the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, pointed out that this decision affects a large number of their members, due to specific working conditions as well as the great distance from their place of residence to work.

Also, during the meeting, activities related to the adoption of the new Law on Police Officers of BiH were discussed.
