SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton today announced two public calls for the realization and implementation of funds from the Program of short-term and medium-term measures of significance for mitigating the negative economic consequences on the economy in KS caused by the coronavirus.
These are the Public Call for approval of financing of applicable taxes and contributions on the minimum monthly net salary in FBiH for the period of the ban on performing activities and the Public Call for approval of financing of the entire or part of the minimum monthly net salary in FBiH for the months of March and April 2021.
The public calls were announced today and will be open for the next 15 days, and the procedure for applying to the public calls is extremely simplified.
"We have done everything to make the public calls clear and precise with clear instructions so that the business entities applying can validly complete the applications," said the Minister of Economy Adnan Delić.
He added that bureaucratic procedures have also been reduced.
"We are asking business entities only for the necessary documents, while we obtain all other data from the database of the Tax Administration of FBiH," the minister emphasized.
Namely, on the website of the Ministry of Economy, there is a form that business entities need to fill out and submit the required documentation along with it.
Minister Delić also said that these are funds of 21 million KM intended for aid and support to business entities whose activities were banned by the Government, but also to those who had a drop in turnover and difficulties in doing business due to the consequences of the pandemic.
He also highlighted the commitment of the KS Government and the Ministry of Economy to, in addition to the fight for saving the lives and health of the citizens of Sarajevo Canton, do everything to repair the negative consequences of the pandemic in the economy as well.
"We are the only canton in the Federation that has systematically approached solving the problems in the economy caused by this pandemic, and we are the first to start implementing aid and support for business entities," stated Minister Delić.
He also said that the processing of received applications for the Public Call for the preservation of traditional crafts/trades is underway.
"We will announce the preliminary results of this Public Call by the middle of next week," the minister announced.
At this press conference, Minister Delić also announced the upcoming announcement of public calls for incentive programs for the development of small businesses, stating that they are expected no later than the end of May.
