MILORAD AND TRGOVSKA GORA: As soon as Dodik invokes BiH institutions, deception is in sight

The visit of Milorad Dodik to the Republic of Croatia is rightly still current. There is a prevailing opinion in public discourse that there is a justified suspicion that Milorad Dodik, in agreement with the authorities of the Republic of Croatia, has launched an attack on the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Therefore, a dissolution is imminent. On the other hand, Dodik did not mention specific problems, but did so later when he saw that the visit would not go smoothly and that the memory of Karađorđevo was alive.

Now, by talking about Trgovska Gora, Dodik is shifting a specific pressure onto BiH institutions. The ones he wants to divide.

“We openly discussed Trgovska Gora as well“, said Dodik in a staged interview with Večernji list.

The truth is, Dodik's cadres, or rather HDZ's, are in the state institutions that should be taking care of this.

Minister Staša Košarac (SNSD) stated that the issue of building a repository for radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel at the Trgovska Gora site has become an internal political issue in BiH, despite efforts to defend the position of the unacceptability of Croatia's intention to dispose of the controversial waste at the mentioned location, based on expert arguments, in coordination with competent institutions at all levels of government in this country.

Košarac says that Dodik fully supports the activities of the Coordination Body for the issue of disposal of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel at the Trgovska Gora location in resolving this issue in the interest of all citizens in BiH, while preserving good bilateral relations with Croatia.

Everything that Dodik, as well as his cadres, say should be taken with a grain of salt, because the plan now is to shift responsibility to state institutions, to present them as impossible, dysfunctional, which is also confirmed by Dodik's meeting in Zagreb with Croatian President Zoran Milanović and Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.

Because if Dodik respected the Constitution and the constitutional order, he would not act outside of institutions. But we have learned that he says one thing and does another. Because ultimately, when Trgovska Gora is established, just like the Pelješac Bridge, the burden of responsibility will again be shifted to the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. And so Dodik talks as if they are living beings, not institutions where, lo and behold, precisely his cadres sit.

Dodik did not, although he presents himself that way now, even mention Trgovska Gora to Milanović and Plenković; they had more important matters concerning the Declaration on the breakup of BiH, which could ultimately be subject to criminal prosecution.
