Millions of Iranians on the streets for Al-Quds Day: Tehran bombed, one woman dies

(Patria) - One woman was killed in an explosion in a Tehran square during a march for Al-Quds Day. According to Iranian state media, the US and Israel are responsible for the bombing. Several other people were injured, but the column continued moving.

Reacting to the news of the attack was the head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, who was himself in the column in Tehran.

He stated that the attack on the march route indicates Israeli desperation.

"Trump is not smart enough to see that the Iranian people are mature, strong and determined," Larijani told state television IRIB. "The greater the US pressure, the stronger the people's will."

Also present in the march was Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who said that despite the brutal attacks by America and Israel, millions of Iranians are on the streets.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was also on the streets of Tehran in a march of support for Palestine.
