Milanović: I don't know what a Croatian spy would be doing in Belgrade - other than looking for a ćevapi recipe

The election campaign of SDP leader Zoran Milanović took him to Vukovar today, in the company of former Minister of Veterans Predrag Matić. Milanović also commented in Vukovar on the arrest of an alleged Croatian spy in Belgrade, reports the Patria News Agency.

"I don't know what a Croatian spy would be doing in Belgrade - other than looking for a ćevapi recipe," Milanović briefly commented on the whole story.

He also said that he would not be surprised if it were a fabrication, especially in light of the fact that the authorities in Belgrade "behave as if they founded the European Union".

He told people in the region to watch what the authorities in Belgrade are doing, "both those among us who don't understand anything, and Bosniaks in BiH who need to see who their friend is and who is not".

He also reminded that former Serbian President Boris Tadić protected him in Serbia, calling Tadić an "officer and a gentleman - an officer of Serbian interests and a gentleman in behavior and agreement".

He assessed current Serbian policy as continuously aggressive and regressive, and a policy that has harmed the Serbian people and historically brought them "all the misery of this world," writes Index.
