The Vice-President of the Social Democratic Party, candidate for the state Presidency, Vojin Mijatović, spoke in tonight's Pressing about political relations in the run-up to the October elections.
"I was hoping for a debate and discussion, but these great heroes are nowhere to be found," said Mijatović.
Why are there no debates on television?
"You have situations where they only appear on well-prepared regime media where no one will ask them what they shouldn't be asked."
Did the former president of SDP, Zlatko Lagumdžija, say that he has solid evidence that Mijatović is "Dodik's candidate"?
"And you invite all sorts of people to the show. Let's start from the beginning. Lagumdžija is a man who was expelled from his own party. Unfortunately, I did not vote for his expulsion from SDP. I felt that I had no right to decide on that, and then a man experiences being kicked out of the party like a 'dog'. After such a situation, I would not have the courage to address the public and mislead them. Lagumdžija is the synonym of corruption and crime in this country. He had better explain the money and villas he owns. He is the gravedigger of social democracy and will never be a factor of decision in BiH again," he said and added:
"Of course, I am not Dodik's candidate. On Mondays I am Bakir's, on Tuesdays Dodik's, on Wednesdays BIA's, on Thursdays American's. Let all these mediocrities agree whose I am. I am the son of Branislava and Dobrivoje from Banja Luka and I am a candidate of that part of the citizens who love their country. Neither Lagumdžija nor anyone else will prevent me or others from choosing or being chosen."
"500,000 Bosnians and Herzegovinians with addresses in the RS entity are abroad. In the last elections in 2018, 8,500 of our citizens voted for pro-Bosnian politicians in RS. In the last elections, we had 45,000 registered voters from Serbia and Croatia, this year we have about 4,500."
Mijatović believes he can defeat Šarović and Cvijanović in the upcoming elections.
"If it is okay for Bosnians and Herzegovinians to vote for one of the closest associates of Radovan Karadžić, during the 90s when genocide was committed against Bosniaks, then I am perfectly fine with that theory of those who claim what Lagumdžija claims. While I raise the BiH flag in Banja Luka, Lagumdžija did nothing while he was the Minister of Foreign Affairs to register Bosnians and Herzegovinians to vote in their country. What if I defeat Željka Cvijanović and Mirko Šarović? Why wouldn't I be able to?"
