Mijatović on IMF's request: RS budget has no money even for regular financing!

(Patria) - It is more than obvious that Milorad Dodik has overplayed his hand and is not aware that Republika Srpska is one of the two entities within the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, not his ancestral property, said Vojin Mijatović, Vice-President of SDP, commenting on the situation where the IMF is requesting an urgent session of the Fiscal Council.

"Also, Milorad Dodik is clearly not aware that there are international obligations and international law, and that the arrangement with the IMF is not another rigged tender for his regime's companies. Tegeltija, who is otherwise the worst chairman of the Council of Ministers in BiH's history, panicked and scheduled a session of the Fiscal Council for Friday, 10.12.2021, because the IMF is clear: repay your debts, and Tegeltija knows that the RS budget doesn't even have money for regular financing.

I welcome this decision by the IMF, and I hope they have also learned their lesson to negotiate with the institutions of BiH, not with ethno-national cartel leaders in cafes," Mijatović said.
