Mijatović: Dodik is not a nationalist but a classic criminal

(Patria) - Vojin Mijatović, one of the leading figures of the SDP, especially in the Republic of Srpska, commented for Patria on Milorad Dodik's visit to Zagreb and his meeting with Croatian President Zoran Milanović.

“All the misfortune of the Western Balkans fits into the political statements of already stale leaders who, lacking leadership and an idea of how people can live better and not flee belly-first for bread across Europe and the world, poison our societies on a daily basis with stupid statements like reality stars. Nothing different was seen in the infamous visit of Milorad Dodik, a member of the BiH Presidency, to Zagreb. Dodik does not surprise with his statements and gestures because he long ago subordinated politics and institutions to personal interest, and as strange as it sounds, Dodik is not a nationalist but a classic criminal, just as in BiH there is essentially no nationalism but the crime of the SNSD, SDA and HDZ”, says Mijatović.

He adds that “what is surprising is the behavior of Belgrade and Zagreb towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they constantly shift the poor economic situation and frustration of mutual leadership in the Balkans onto our country”.

“While in the Republic of Srpska Croats almost do not exist, where the youngest person at mass in Banja Luka is 53 years old, where Croats are used only as ID cards for absentee voting for 100 KM per vote, Zoran Milanović and Andrej Plenković try to cover up by directly interfering in the internal affairs of BiH, and on top of that, by insulting our state. Dear gentlemen, unfortunately there are no Croats in Banja Luka and the Republic of Srpska, just as there are no Serbs in Zagreb and Croatia, and apparently that does not bother you or Mr. Dodik. 

The exodus of citizens from BiH and Croatia to Europe and the world is ongoing, but I see that was not the topic of your conversations. Economically, we are a satellite of Europe, both you and us, but I did not see you upset about that. In the end, the question arises whether you are aware that if you continue like this, you will remain leaders of an empty Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, because your peoples no longer believe you when you say good day, but only think about how to permanently leave Croatia and BiH. Comrade Zoran, death to fascism, freedom to the people, just to remind you of this, it seems you are forgetting!!!”, Mijatović pointed out.
