Mesić's letter to Biden: Organize Bosnia and Herzegovina on a civic principle

(Patria) - Former Croatian President Stjepan Mesić sent a letter to the new US President Joe Biden with a proposal on how to organize Bosnia and Herzegovina on a civic, not national principle – which is contrary to what the state leadership of Croatia advocates, writes Nacional.hr.

"Dear Mr. President-elect, although my term as President of the Republic of Croatia ended 10 years ago, I still follow events in the region and in the world. I am glad to see (from newspaper reports) that your future administration will pay much more attention to Southeast Europe, and especially to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Finally!", Mesić states in the letter, among other things.
