Mešalić responds to Dodik: Keep your criminal hands away from the massacred children at Tuzlanska Kapija

President of Republika Srpska and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik said in the Telering show on RTRS that the number of 8,000 or more killed Bosniaks in the Srebrenica genocide is false, and that this number is much smaller than what is presented.

Dodik also denied that the Serbian side was responsible for the two massacres at Sarajevo's Markale market, the massacre in Ferhadija Street (formerly Vase Miskina Street) in Sarajevo, as well as the massacre at Tuzlanska Kapija, in which a large number of civilians were killed.

Tuzla native Mahir Mešalić, a DF representative in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, subsequently sent an open letter to Dodik, warning him to „keep his criminal hands away from the massacred children at Kapija“.

Milorade, Tuzla will not remain silent! It never has in its history. We are proud that we remained a multi-ethnic city, that in the war we were heroic people, who proudly wept for their victims, regardless of their nationality.

Milorade, keep your criminal hands away from our massacred children at Kapija, keep your hands away from our Nenad, Amir, our little Sandro. You are pathetic, Milorade, if you build your political survival on innocent citizens who should rest in peace. This is the pinnacle of your misery, an empty shell, human filth.

Why don't you call your commissions to investigate Srebrenica, Prijedor, Zvornik, Bijeljina, Višegrad, Banja Luka, the entire Posavina region? If you think you will wear us out with your idiocies so that we, the citizens of BiH; Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks, Jews, Roma, Bosnians and Herzegovinians..., will agree to the division of the state, secession..., you are gravely mistaken! On the contrary, we will defend Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens to the end, by all means. We will defend it equally from crime and corruption, both you and your party brethren, as well as from the thieves in the federal entity you despise. Everything is ours, every entity, every person, every tree, grass, everything!

You can cry, Milorade, to Vučić and Dačić and to your pathetic electorate which you have economically massacred, but investigators will deal with you, Mile, not with Kapija, Markale, and not because of the war, but because of post-war systematic plunder.

To your regret, Milorade, you cannot threaten me like you do journalists because I have a larger number of shoes than you, and I am also bigger, not a Serb, Bosniak or Croat, but I am simply a bigger person than you.

We in Tuzla will not forget all our victims, we will also pay our respects to the victims of crimes in other places wherever they were and whoever suffered them. It is clear to us that chauvinists and nationalists, regardless of which people they come from, do not like us like this. But the fact that we bother you so much makes us proud and relevant in our Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I invite you, Milorade, once again, as the President of RS, to come to Tuzla, lay flowers at the common cemetery Slana banja, and in that way apologize to the victims and citizens of Tuzla for the words you have spoken.
