Memorandum to improve investments between BiH and Emirates

The heads of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA), BBI Bank, and Dubai Exports signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on May 5 in Sarajevo with the aim of improving economic cooperation, exports, and investments between Dubai and BiH.

The Memorandum also envisages joint and individual activities to promote cooperation through the organization of joint events, coordination of joint meetings and conferences that will enable the establishment of contacts between investors and owners of investment projects, as well as businessmen, all with the aim of concretizing joint work based on the signed document and achieving business results that will satisfy all parties.

The signatories of the Memorandum will make joint efforts to find investors from Dubai who are interested in trade and investment in BiH, and vice versa.

Visits of business delegations from BiH to Dubai and vice versa will be organized to connect businessmen in accordance with available financial resources.

Contact networks will be used to increase trade and investment, and information will be exchanged to promote business opportunities, as well as projects that are of interest to investors.

The signing of the Memorandum and its implementation will contribute to improving the image of Bosnia and Herzegovina and promoting the country in this part of the world, given that FIPA's lack of financial resources has so far prevented the undertaking of more significant activities.
