RIYADH, (Patria) - Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Mektić is on an official visit to Saudi Arabia, where he met today with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
During the meeting, bilateral relations and opportunities for improving cooperation between the security agencies of the two countries were discussed.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nizar bin Obaid Madani, and the Ambassador of BiH to Saudi Arabia Senahid Bristrić.
The focus of the talks was particularly on the fight against terrorism and extremism. It was assessed that cooperation in this area needs to be strengthened, and a return visit of the Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia to BiH was agreed upon, during which an action plan for future cooperation between the security agencies of the two countries will be presented.
