Mektić before the session of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA: We have a problem with terrorism

The House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly will today consider the Information of the Council of Ministers of BiH on the attack on the Police Station in Zvornik and the recent detention of Bosniaks in the Republika Srpska as part of the Ruben operation, writes the Patria News Agency.

Dragan Mektić, Minister of Security of BiH, before the start of the session, stated that he had requested that these documents be declassified so that the entire public would be informed about all developments.

- We will see today what the Parliament will say. It is now official that the attack in Zvornik was a terrorist act, as determined by the Prosecutor's Office. The most important conclusion is to admit that we have a problem with terrorism and to start fighting against a handful of criminals and people who are causing problems with their radicalism for everyone in BiH - said Mektić.

He emphasized that he hopes for a constructive discussion in the Parliament, and that the Ministry of Security is intensively working on drafting a document that foresees certain measures in the fight against terrorism.
