Mektić-Moore: BiH achieved significant results in the fight against terrorism

The Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the OSCE Mission to BiH will continue to cooperate closely in the future to increase the security of citizens, it was stated at today's meeting of the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Mektić and the Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH Ambassador Jonathan Moore, which was also his farewell visit, reports the Patria agency.

The cooperation between the Ministry and the OSCE Mission so far has been assessed as excellent, through which significant results have been achieved despite problems and slowness in implementing strategic projects and reforms.

The results are particularly visible in the fight against terrorism, prevention, and raising awareness of the dangers of this global threat.

Ambassador Moore highlighted the significant role of Minister Mektić in this process, i.e., his readiness to speak concretely and confront these threats in the country.

Due to all of the above, the image of BiH in the world has also significantly changed, and it is now seen as a determined and reliable country in the fight against terrorism, radicalism, and extremism.
