Medvedev: Ukrainian troops in Kursk region will be destroyed if they refuse to surrender

(PPatria) - Ukrainian soldiers in the Kursk region will be ruthlessly destroyed if they refuse to lay down their arms, said Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, TASS reported.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the Security Council that Ukrainian soldiers who lay down their arms near Kursk will be guaranteed life and decent treatment.

"This is a very humane approach from our country, but for the Ukrainian Nazis, there is another side - if they refuse to lay down their arms, all of them will be systematically and ruthlessly eliminated," Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel.

Putin said on March 13 that Russia is in full control of the situation in the Kursk region, and a group of Ukrainian soldiers is in complete isolation.
