(Patria) - Former US President Donald Trump has pre-emptively won the upcoming presidential election in the United States, stated late last night the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, former Russian Prime Minister and President.
"He has surely won. Unless he is killed," Medvedev wrote on his X social media profile and attached a picture of Trump when he was formally arrested in August 2023, TASS reported.
On July 13, Trump survived an assassination attempt during his campaign rally in Pennsylvania. He sustained a minor injury - a bullet grazed his right ear.
One person was killed and two were injured in the shooting. The shooter was killed by agents of the US Secret Service, which is specifically tasked with protecting top state officials.
The FBI is investigating the shooting at Trump's rally as a possible domestic terrorist attack and assassination attempt.
