International Children's Folklore Festival: Over 600 participants arriving in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Everything is ready for the ninth International Children's Folklore Festival "Ilidža 2018" which will be held in Sarajevo from July 26 to 30 at the Ilidža Summer Stage.

The Association for Children and Youth "Nominativ", just like in previous years, is organizing the festival which, in addition to socializing, competitions and visits by over 600 participants, also organizes the promotion of both the city of Sarajevo and the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

One of the festival organizers, Adis Ćuhara, told us that everything is ready for the start of the festival and that everyone is eagerly awaiting the arrival of the first guests.

- As soon as we finished with the last festival, we started preparations for the new one. The year passed very quickly, and now everything is ready. Some of the participants have already arrived in our city, so we can say that the festival has already begun, although not officially. We are happy to have gathered such a large number of participants in our city. We hope that the weather will also be favorable and that we will all enjoy ourselves during the festival - said Ćuhara.
