International Day of Families an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of dental health

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - May 15th has been celebrated as the International Day of Families since 1993, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of the family and promote ways in which the basic unit of society can be protected.

To mark this day in accordance with their beliefs, the Sarajevo dental clinic Saradent will host families with children on Tuesday, 05/15/2018, during an organized free fun and educational workshop for children aged 3-7.

During the workshop, children will learn about the importance of tooth health, food good for teeth, and proper oral hygiene. The little ones, along with the mascot - Sunny the squirrel from Trebević's Sunnyland, will actively participate in the workshop and, along with the most fun free check-up to date, will receive gift packages with food good for teeth, and learn interesting facts about oral health from a doctor from the Saradent clinic in a modernly equipped children's office.

"We believe that family habits are crucial for good dental health. The workshop we are organizing for children is one way to promote the importance of proper and general oral hygiene and to draw attention to the fact that the foundations of dental health are acquired through good examples from the family," said Dr. Reuf Čolak from the Saradent dental clinic.
