(Patria) - An operation conducted by members of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been underway in the areas of Banja Luka, Prnjavor, and Bosanska Gradiška since this morning.
Searches of facilities and arrests of suspects are in progress, and the operation is being carried out on the order of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH in connection with organized crime - unauthorized procurement, possession, or sale of weapons.
This is an international operation being carried out simultaneously in the areas of BiH, Slovenia, France, and Spain.
SIPA has ceased operations in the territory of RS following the adoption of an unconstitutional law prohibiting the work of the HJPC, Courts, Prosecutor's Office, and SIPA in the territory of RS.
Although SIPA Director Darko Ćulum claims that work is proceeding smoothly, there has been no cooperation with the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs since the end of February.
SIPA refused to carry out this operation, so the Border Police of BiH is the lead agency.
