At least 83 people were killed and more than 200 wounded in explosions that shook Baghdad this morning. Among the victims is a large number of children.
The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the first explosion via a statement, in which 78 people were killed and over 160 wounded. That explosion was caused by a car bomb detonation. The tragedy occurred in a part of the city where Christians and Shiites live, NAP reports.
