Medical technician of the Health Center of Sarajevo Canton forged prescriptions for Tramadol, Apaurin, Bosaurin, and stamped them with a missing seal

(Patria) - Police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, acting under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, deprived D.K. (1980) from Sarajevo of liberty due to the existence of reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of Forgery of Documents, Special Cases of Forgery of Documents, Special Cases of Forgery, and Forgery of Official Documents.

After the public institution "Pharmacies Sarajevo" reported to the Police Administration at the beginning of December that pharmacies in the area of Sarajevo Canton had received and processed several prescriptions from the Health Insurance Institute of Sarajevo Canton for the issuance of medications Tramadol, Apaurin, and Bosaurin, which were stamped with a missing seal-facsimile of a medical doctor, police officers of the Department for Economic Crime and Anti-Corruption deprived of liberty a 44-year-old medical technician of the Health Center of Sarajevo Canton.

During a search of the residential premises used by the suspect, as well as a locker at his workplace, a larger quantity of prescriptions stamped with the missing seal-facsimile, a certain amount of the narcotic drug ecstasy, and other items for which there is reasonable suspicion that they originate from criminal offenses were found and seized.

The deprived individual is currently undergoing criminal processing in the official premises of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton.
