(Patria) - Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) stated that his country wants to normalize relations with Israel through US President Donald Trump's Abraham Accords, but that it first needs a "clear path" to Palestinian statehood, Al Arabiya reported.
"We want to be part of the Abraham Accords. But we also want to be sure that we secure a clear path to a two-state solution," MBS said in the Oval Office alongside Trump.
"We will work on that to ensure we can prepare the right situation as soon as possible," he added.
"We want peace for Israelis. We want peace for Palestinians... We want them to coexist peacefully in the region, and we will do everything we can to reach that date," MBS said.
Saudi Arabia has repeatedly emphasized that it will not normalize relations with Israel without the establishment of a Palestinian state.
