(Patria) – Belarusian opposition politician Maxim Znak was forcibly taken from his office by masked individuals in civilian clothes, reported the Interfax news agency citing Znak's colleagues.
At the same time, the RIA news agency reports that the Belarusian police are unaware of Znak's arrest.
The alleged abduction of Maxim Znak is the latest incident in a series involving prominent figures of the Belarusian opposition. Prominent opposition member Maria Kolesnikova tore up her passport at the border with Ukraine on Tuesday to prevent her exile to that neighboring country.
