Masked individuals break into pharmacy: Police arrest robbers 20 minutes after the robbery

Around 3:30 PM in Azize Šaćirbegović Street, Novo Sarajevo municipality, on Thursday, June 2, two masked individuals broke into the “Revita” pharmacy, and threatening employees with a pistol, stole a certain amount of money, after which they fled, reports the Patria news agency.

Searching the wider area, police found a pistol of the brand “GAP”, cal. 9 mm, as well as other items suspected to have been used during the robbery in Aleja Lipa Street.

Only about 20 minutes after the robbery, Dž.E., born in 1993, L.A., born in 1998, and M.I., born in 1988, all residing in Sarajevo, were arrested at Trg heroja on suspicion of having committed the robbery.

The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed about the incident, and the arrested individuals were handed over to the Detention Unit for Persons Deprived of Liberty of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton. Police officers continue working on clarifying and documenting the criminal activities of the mentioned individuals, the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton announced.
