Maruf: International intervention could stop Israeli aggression

We are in contact with people in Gaza and the situation is very difficult and requires the intervention of the international community to stop the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, said Madžid Maruf, president of the association "Palestinian Community in BiH" for the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

We remind you that after the bodies of three young Israelis were found, for whose deaths the Palestinian Hamas was blamed, and Hamas denied involvement. During the night, the Israeli army bombed the Gaza Strip, and several Palestinians were wounded, and one was killed who resisted the Israelis.

- The whole world talks about the fight against terrorism, and no one reacts to the Israeli terrorism they carry out against the Palestinian people every day – says Maruf.

He believes that the world has become alienated with globalization and every country has its own problems.

- We have been suffering for 40 years. Unfortunately, we have been forgotten, and there is no reaction. Numerous Palestinians are in Israeli prisons, people are arrested without any reason, children of 13 years old on the street – says Maruf.

On this occasion, this association will organize a petition signing on Friday from 2 PM to 6 PM in front of the Cathedral for the release of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons.

- We will send the collected signatures to the European Union, the United Nations. We have a normal life here, and our people in Palestine are suffering – says Maruf.
