After yesterday's attacks in Brussels in which 31 people lost their lives, and according to some information 300 were injured, popular journalist Mladen Marić, an excellent connoisseur of international politics, also posted on Facebook, reports the Patria News Agency.
"A new terrorist attack in the heart of Europe, at the seat of the EU, occurred a few days after the main suspect in the Paris attacks of November 13 last year was arrested in Molenbeek, which is only five kilometers from the EU headquarters. Molenbeek is a center for radical Islamists and a place from which some of the most dangerous operations in Europe are launched. Western Europe has long been a target of terrorist attacks. It all started in March 2003 with the attack on trains in Madrid, the deadliest attack in Europe to date. In July 2005, it was London's turn, last year was marked by two attacks in Paris, and now death has arrived in Brussels. Europe is at war, and it doesn't matter who declared war on whom.
This is a war against human civilization, a war against man, a war against reason, a war that began after September 11, 2001, when they said they would create a better world. It was a day that awakened the forces of darkness, a day that marked the beginning of imperialist Western policy towards the Arab world. Invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq began, and the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff stated that this would be a war to the end of our lives. The war against global terrorism began, a war in which huge sums of money are allocated, a war for the profits of arms dealers and multinational corporations.
In that war, Libya and Syria, or rather the Western deception called the Arab Spring, came next. Christian fundamentalism strengthened Islamic fundamentalism, which was born in Iraq where it did not exist before. Then the West decided to introduce democracy to Syria and support the so-called moderate fighters who became the brutal cult of death, ISIL. After that, nothing was the same.
This is a war of bloodthirsty representatives from both sides of the political spectrum; they feed each other and sustain themselves every day by playing a new game of death in which innocent civilians suffer. But they are collateral damage; they don't matter to anyone; they are numbers on a long death toll. The West could have expected that its imperialist policy for Arab oil, all under the guise of so-called democracy, would strengthen new forces of darkness, which, unleashed, rage more and more frequently in the heart of Europe.
But the West did not see it or did not want to see it. History cannot be undone; September 11 was the trigger. Without peace in Syria and without a solution to the Palestinian issue, there will be no peace in Europe, which has turned a blind eye to the endless killings in the Middle East for years. Now the war has returned home, to the streets of European cities in the form of malignant terrorism that is metastasizing, and there is no cure. Europe is paying the price for American wars and will pay for a long time. And they said they would create a better world."
